Men's Issues
Men often face unique pressures around work, relationships, family, identity, and what it means to be successful. Many have learned to handle problems on their own, keep difficult emotions to themselves, or focus on fixing a problem rather than talking about it. Therapy does not require you to change who you are or become someone who talks about feelings all day. Therapy can simply be a place to step back, take an honest look at what's happening, and figure out what you want to do next.
I work with men who may be dealing with stress, anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, career concerns, major life transitions, or a growing sense that something in their life isn't quite right. Sometimes the struggle is obvious; other times, everything may look fine on the outside while you are feeling stuck, disconnected, frustrated, or uncertain about what comes next. We can explore the patterns, expectations, and choices that may be contributing to those feelings while developing practical ways to move forward.
My approach is grounded in existential therapy, which means we will pay attention not only to what is causing distress, but also to larger questions of identity, purpose, meaning, responsibility, and the kind of life you want to build. Therapy is a collaborative process, and you don't have to have the right words - or even know exactly what's wrong - to begin. My goal is to provide a straightforward, comfortable environment where you can be honest, gain perspective, and work toward meaningful change.
